Healthcare and Insurance Forms Made Accessible

Situation

A large healthcare provider had an urgent need to make several printed forms accessible for their online portal.

Task

To preserve the format and structure while making the forms fully accessible in an online environment.

Approach

PREP’s Forms feature was able to accurately identify the fields, convert the printed and scanned forms into editable versions which could be deployed in an online environment.

Result

Working at the rate of 60 hours per 100 pages with forms, PREP delivered fillable, accessible forms swiftly to the client enabling their online customers and individuals using screen reader software to fill and submit the forms online. PREP also provided tool tips that assisted screen readers in reading the content to the user, making the entire process simple.
